There are a few types of maintenance when talking about fixed electrics, statutory electrical maintenance, Preventative electrical maintenance and Reactive electrical maintenance.
Statutory Electrical Maintenance
This includes PAT testing of portable appliances, to ensure that they are safe to use. Testing of emergency lighting and exit signs. These tests are advised to be done yearly.
Preventative Electrical Maintenance
This consists of Electrical tests and inspections to ensure your electrical installation is working at its maximum efficiency, safely and reliably. These tests will help to minimise down time of your electrical system, checking it at regular intervals to ensure it is adequately maintained.
